Recruitment Scams Warning
We would like to thank you for your interest in working for Innovilage. It is unfortunate that we must report to you of the rising number in recruitment scams that has taken place over the years.
We urge you to stay vigilant whenever a recruitment email or other forms of communication reaches you that may be impersonating prominent companies, such as Innovilage. These scams have adapted to appear more legitimate over the years. Unsuspecting applicants may be subject to privacy intrusion or money scams where ill-considered actions are taken such as filling out these fabricated application forms or participating in sham interviews. Please stay especially cautious when receiving job offers from companies that you have not applied to.
To help you stay safe online, we have put together guidelines to help you dodge some of these recruitment scams.

- Correspondence from suspicious senders containing job offers that appear "too good to be true".
- At any point in the application process where Innovilage requests monetary payments or "verification" payments. Innovilage will never ask for any form of payment whatsoever during the recruitment process.
- All payments from Innovilage will contain some form of "Innovilage FZE" either in checks or bank statements.
Correspondence
- Receiving emails from obscure senders or websites whose name or brand is inconsistent with the domain name.
- Unsolicited emails whereby the recruiter claims to have seen your personal information or résumé from places you are unaware of.
- Emails where job information is extremely vague or contains work of suspicious nature.
- Use of free generic email addresses such as Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo when approaching potential candidates. You can come to expect the use of our official email addresses ending with innovilage.com when information is requested from potential candidates, although we may also approach candidates through services such as LinkedIn or other social media platforms.
- Soliciting of sensitive information during application phase including, but not limited to passport information, identity card information, drivers' license, and more.
Interviews
- Innovilage conducts interviews only through corporate Skype account or Zoom. Any other platforms such as Google Hangouts, FaceTime, Instagram, or personal IM services should be considered fake or a scam.
- Beware of unusual requests or behaviours from the interviewer during voice or video calls.
